» PALLADIAN VICENZA

Departure from Hotel Alfa Fiera, meeting with the guide in Vicenza and visit of Santuario Mariano di Monte Berico. At the end the tour continues with a visit of Villa Valmarana “Ai Nani” and Villa Capra “La Rotonda”, masterpiece by architect Andrea Palladio. Transfer to Vicenza centre. Free Lunch. The afternoon is devoted to a guided tour of the heart of Vicenza, walking along Corso Palladio, where you can see some buildings designed by the famous local architect, such as Palazzo Montanari, Palazzo Chiericati, the Palladian Basilica and you will have a guided tour of the Olimpic Theatre.

» BERICI HILLS: ARTS AND NATURE

Meeting with tour leader at Hotel Alfa Fiera and departure to Berici Hills, hilly area renowned for the ancient rural villas, vineyards of Barbarano Wine/Tai Red and natural tracks. Stop in Costozza to visit Villa Da Schio, a complex with gardens and buildings immersed in a smart village. Soon after, you will go to visit a beekeeping in Barbarano where you can see all the honey manufacturing (dalla smielatura all’imbottigliamento) and have a taste of some different types oh honey (or visit to a local cheese factory where you can see the cheese manufaturing and taste some genuine local cheese). Possibility to have lunch in a local farm with typical local products. In the afternoon you’ll continue to Mossano for a walk along the Mills Valley, characterized by 12 mills, some of them still working, and the antiques prisons (X-XII century a.C.). At the end of this walking, you’ll continue to Toara where you can meet two clever and extrovert artisans specialised in making leather masks and wooden sculptures.



» OLIERO CAVES, BASSANO DEL GRAPPA AND MAROSTICA

Departures from Hotel Alfa Fiera to Valstagna, where you can visit Oliero caves: Oliero’s spring is the most important drain of the karstic massif of Seven Commons and one of the greatest springs in Europe in Valchiusa; The caves now opened to public are four: from the two inner caves arise Oliero river, whether the 2 upper caves (Covolo degli Assassini and Covolo delle Sorelle), the old springs are now arid. Free lunch. Departure to Bassano del Grappa, meeting with our guide and visit of the centre of the town, stop at Ponte degli Alpini. Opportunity to visit Grappa Museum and tasting of grappa (brandy). At the end, transfer to Marostica to admire Piazza degli Scacchi and possibility to visit the old ramparts of Castello Superiore.

Departure from Hotel Alfa Fiera, meeting with the guide and visit of Villa Cordellina in Montecchio Maggiore. Free lunch. In the afternoon move to Bagnolo di Lonigo to visit Villa Pisani designed as a rural villa, the purpose of which may occur from the presence of the neighboring barchesse; continue to Pojana, to visit Villa Pojana, in The Unesco Heritage List, this buiding perfectly reflects the military origins of its committee, related to war art, partially turned to agricultural activity. Knights Bonifacio Pojana asked Palladio to build a smart villa recalling frugality and austereness of military life. Coming back stop at Zonin Wine House in Gambellara to taste wine.

» PADUA AND VILLA PISANI

Departure from Hotel Alfa Fiera, arrival in Padua and meeting with tour leader for a guided visit of historical centre of this beautiful university town: Prato della Valle, The Saint, the squares and the university. Departure to Riviera del Brenta urban historic landscape area, distributed along the Brenta River, beginnig from Stra and ends at Fusina in the Venice lagoon. This area is characterized for many villas, commissioned between 16th and 18th centuries by patrician venetian families, testifying to the power of the aristocracy. At that time, the Riviera was achieved only moving by boat, while the existing roads have been built later. The venetian nobles were transported on the river by a boat called Il Burchiello pulled from the banks by men, oxen or horses, while the goods were transported by boats called Burci. Even today, the cruise along the Riviera of Brenta is a turistic attraction. Possibility of Dining in a restaurant in the area. In the afternoon visit to one of the most beautiful villas and certainly the most majestic of the properties of the Brenta: Villa Pisani. The visit to the villa is held within the thirty rooms on the main floor, where, very rare event for a historical villa, there are frescos, paintings and original furnishings. Of particular interest is the napoleonic apartment, full of treasures: the magnificetn canapy bed topped the initial of the emperor. The park occupies an entire loop of the Brenta canal, in an area of 11 hectares and an outer perimeter of about 1.500 meters. » CRUISE ALONG THE BRENTA RIVER AND THE MOST ATTRACTIVE VENETIAN VILLAS

Departure from Hotel Alfa Fiera to the Riviera del Brenta: zona urbana, storico-paesaggistica, distribuita lungo il "Naviglio del Brenta", beginnind from Strà and sfocia a Fusina in the Venice Lagoon.
